What is Freeze Drying?

Freeze Drying is a process in which a sample is completely frozen to about negative forty degrees, then the sample is placed into a vacuum chamber in order to remove liquid allowing the ice to change directly from a solid state to a vapor without passing through a liquid phase.
This is called sublimation and honestly it is sublime science if you ask us!
How do we Spin Sugar?

Our Spun Sugar is made by slowly heating sucrose and our favorite flavorings. The heat breaks the molecular bonds in the sucrose and converts it into a liquid state. Then the liquid is spun using centrifugal force onto our cone substrates and then packaged and sealed.
